A pair of SZ11 lounge chairs designed by Martin Visser for ´t Spectrum in the Netherlands in 1965. In 1965 the company ´t Spectrum was at its top and their idealism was at its peak resulting in a few strong Dutch design classics. These chairs have been in production only for two years. A heavy stainless steel folded base supports a wooden structure that is newly upholstered with De Ploeg fabric and all new foam. To demonstrate the weight, a single chair needs to be lifted by two strong persons.
