An early example of a Paul Kingma´s sober coffee tables. Paul Kingma traveled extensively in search of unusual materials, both naturally occurring and industrially produced. He combined materials used in architecture like stone, metal and concrete, with rich varied materials as brass, copper, glass or ceramic. All his tables are unique pieces, usually specially commissioned. This piece features stones tiles combined with dark stone. This is an early Kingma table, produced in 1963 just two years after he began his series, the year appearing on the back, as well as a hand print.
